Some highlights of recent life:
- Family time is cherished – with Kim; with Cliff; with Sam; with siblings and siblings-in-law; with extended family
- Joyful Noise efforts – sing-alongs with various senior living communities – continue to be a joy, including time with Joyful Noise Boys (and Joyful Noise Crew). Plus the weekly music therapy with Chapel Folk friends (27 years together and counting!)
- Finding ways to Alleviate Childhood Hunger in the Cincinnati area with non-profit Whole Again continues to be important, especially when realizing that upwards of 40% of Cincinnati children are food insecure!
- Brain Health & Memory Matters: actively working with excellent individuals, in conjunction with our local senior center staff, to create numerous effective initiatives to make life even better for seniors in our area, including a monthly Memory Cafe and monthly Brain Health Series talks
- Enjoys “Binder of a Lifetime” efforts, helping people summarize key aspects of life to summarize many important aspects of life, including financial, legal, end-of-life and more. - Mindfulness, Lovingkindness and Pilgrimage are now taking more focus, especially after a wonderful Iona experience. Following Disciple Playbook principles is still fruitful (while taking a hiatus from writing/editing devotional articles a couple times each week)
- Loves spending time with individuals/small groups at local eateries, coffee shops and micro-breweries
- Kayaking, biking and gardening still get a little attention
