HOUSING / ASSISTED LIVING
- CarePatrol assists when locating senior housing (independent living, assisted living, nursing home, …) Think of them as real estate agents for you, with expertise in government and other legal paperwork/logistics. They also sometimes know of small providers that are available.
- One of their agents, Anthony Coleman, was a huge help for us in the NE Ohio area (thanks Anthony!)
- In the Cincinnati area Aletha Stewart 513-317-3591 is a wonderful CarePatrol resource
- SeniorCare.com – includes Medicare ratings for each facility (HERE is an example for a top-rated place in SE Cinci – Atlantes). [HINT: After doing a search, look for the “No thanks. Just show me the facilities >” so you can avoid the marketing staff early on…]
- AssistedLiving.org provides resources and information plus provides some Ohio location possibilities (though far from complete in the Cinci area)
- Some SE Cincinnati locations that individuals, CarePatrol or others may consider include (people to share perspective are listed in parentheses)
