150,000
Anyone heard of an organization that distributed 150,000 meals to children in the Cincinnati metropolitan area last summer?
Here’s a quick video summarizing the Whole Again program
THE PANDEMIC EFFECT – 2020
Due to the pandemic we were not able to have children and adults gathering together
- meals delivery was to children walking up and/or parents driving by for pick up
- academics had to be promoted by internet sources
- no in-person physical fitness
- no field trips
We established a Mt. Washington Whole Again (MWWA) site in 2020, housed at the MW Methodist Church at 6365 Corbly, right beside Sands Montessori. Last summer MWWA:
- served over 6,000 meals (and at least that many smiles)
- shared scores of FreeStore FoodBank boxes
- provided pounds of produce
- handed out hundreds of books and workbooks
- delivered dozens of hygiene bags (shampoo, deodorant, soap, laundry detergent, etc.)
- handed out rolls and rolls of _________ {you know what … not gold, but it seemed like it at times!}
- and much, much more…
I’m asked regularly, how can I help?
SHARE
- SHARE the word – tell friends and family about us, that they might decide to pitch in
- SHARE your time – we can use food packers and food distributors
- SHARE your financial support
- write check to Whole Again and bring to ATSC
- mail checks to Whole Again, P.O. Box 128816, Norwood, OH 45212
- donate online at whole-again.org
- SHARE a jar of peanut butter – – ATSC is doing a peanut butter drive – bring a jar of peanut butter to ATSC between now and mid-June
Hopefully that gives a good overview to the positive influence of Whole Again
