The update to my original mantra of

“Make a suitable number of mistakes!”

is based on experiences and fabulous reading – Untethered Soul, Artist’s Way, Walking in the World, Life is For Loving It, CAC devotionals – and specifically after reading Miles Davis quote below and hearing the Herbie Hancock music story; so many good influences in my life.

The more living I do, all the more powerful is the recognition that wisdom is based on acquired experiences, including those that don’t go quite the way we’d wish.
