Helpful Hints for making ZOOMin’ a positive experience

HOSTS

  • At an early stage, go in and determine key global settings for your sessions. Some examples of good ones to consider:
    • Screen Sharing Options set to “Only Host” – minimizes the chance of others hijacking/interrupting your gathering
    • ALT-M: mutes all participants
    • Make some of these settings “Global” so they work even when you’re doing Screen Share
