The MWPC youth program is studying the word Faithful.
- What does it mean to be faithful?
HERE is a summary for the MWPC children’s elementary Sunday School classes done early in the pandemic. Please look past the more juvenile presentation (to elementary students) 🙂
- Who are faithful examples in the bible? (perhaps a lesser-known person? Elisha and Elijah, per 2 Kings 2:1-12)
- Persistent – Elijah told Elisha he could stay behind. Elisha doggedly said he was coming along
-
- Asked to be the one to carry on when Elijah was done and left this earth
- Jesus asks all of us to live faithfully and mentions two commandments specifically in Matthew 22:
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- What does this mean to me about how to live faithful?

The great thing is that you’re already getting involved in such “Love God” and “Love Neighbors” activities through Youth group, other church activities and your community! You’ll have a lifetime to be faithful to God – – enjoy the experience and let the Spirit move you to do wonderful things with God’s help!
I’ve talked long enough – any comments, questions or ???
